April 22 is Earth Day 2009. It is a day to encourage environmentally healthy behaviors, and bring attention and awareness to our environment. In 1970, Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson, introduced the Earth Day movement and since then it is recognized and celebrated simultaneously by people all over the world.
